Trips in the DC Area - Virginia's Vineyards (Click on any image to load a larger copy)
Introduction
Located about an hour west of Washington, D.C. is Virginia's Wine Country. While not as famous for wine as
California in the U.S., Virginia does produce some great wines. I am quite happy that one of the grapes that
this area is suited for is Riesling, my favorite. I have been to four vineyards and my favorites are Linden and Oasis.

I took these photos with a borrowed Canon EOS SLR and used slide film. The photos were digitalized using Kodak's
Photo CD and were cleaned up a bit with Adobe PhotoShop Elements. Additional Camera
