Trips in the DC Area - Cherry Blossom Festival (Click on any image to load a larger copy)
Introduction
My sister came down on April 1, 2004 and we went into DC the next day to see the Cherry Blossoms. As it was a cold, wet day we spent most of our time at the Sackler and Freer Galleries. At the Sackler we took part in a Japanese Tea Ceremony and at the Freer Gallery we were able to see a Japanese Drumming group. We were luckily that in front of the Smithsonian Castle is a Japanese inspired garden with some Cherry Blossom trees.

I used a Olympus C-750UZ 4.0 Megapixel Digital Camera. The images were cleaned up a bit with Adobe PhotoShop Elements (To correct the color balance). Additional Camera Information
